Abstract: The Deusto Journal of Human Rights is published yearly by the Pedro Arrupe Human Rights Institute at the University of Deusto. As of 2016, following renewal of its content and structure, the journal is embarking on a new stage with the aim of becoming a benchmark for periodical publications on human rights in Spain and the international scene. Original cutting-edge scientific works from the interdisciplinary field of human rights, which is transversally related to the fields of Law, Philosophy, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science and International Relations, etc. are compiled for this purpose. Accordingly, the journal’s aim continues to be facilitation and promotion of reflection and interdisciplinary exchange on human rights research from the academic world as well as from the realms of professional and political activities, social activism, etc.

Abstract: The three institutions making up the African Regional Human Rights System, the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, and the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, decided to jointly publish the African Human Rights Yearbook, to spearhead studies on the promotion and protection of human rights, and to provide a forum for constructive engagement about the African human rights system with academics and other human rights commentators on the continent. Volume 1 of the Yearbook, published in 2017, contains fifteen contributions by scholars from Africa and beyond.

Abstract: The Palestine-Israel Journal is a non-profit organization, founded in 1994 by Ziad AbuZayyad and Victor Cygielman, two prominent Palestinian and Israeli journalists, and was established concurrently with the first phases of the Oslo peace process to encourage dialogue between civil societies on both sides and broaden the base of support for the peace process. As an independent publication, with an often critical voice, the Palestine-Israel Journal provides background material and in-depth analysis of various aspects of the conflict from the perspective of both sides, thus helping to shed light on the complex issues dividing Israelis and Palestinians and the relationship between the two peoples. Now in its thirteenth year, the Palestine-Israel newspaper shows that it is possible to work together in a spirit of mutual respect, cooperation and recognition, even in the most sensitive and sensitive issues. In Vol. 23, No. 2 and 3 the theme to be developed is: Oslo 25 years later, Realities, Chahhenges and Perspectives. |
